This data can be represented two ways:<\/SPAN><\/P>

Option #1<\/SPAN><\/P>

Users not caring to differentiate between the 100 year and its inner \"floodway\" use this Definiton Query:<\/SPAN><\/P>

Flood_Zone = '100-Year'<\/SPAN><\/P>

<\/P>

<\/P>

Option #2<\/SPAN><\/P>

The query above removes the \"floodway\" (which is the area inside of the 100 year flood zone).<\/SPAN><\/P>

Query Definition will look like this: STUDY_TYP = 'SFHAs WITH HIGH FLOOD RISK' AND ZONE_SUBTY = ' '<\/SPAN><\/P>

Definitions for Floodways:<\/SPAN><\/P>

Floodways are flood areas inside the 100 year flood zone. Tim Brooks wanted to be able to differentiate between what is known as 100 year flood zone and the \"floodway\". He wanted these in two separate layers in ParcelSearch.<\/SPAN><\/P>

FEMA sent City Mayor a dvd with the latest FEMA Floodzone study in spring of 2017. Mayor's office gave data to Stormwater Engineer (David Dickson) who gave it to GIS. <\/SPAN><\/P>

NOTE: <\/SPAN><\/P>

FEMA did not do a comprehensive County wide study.<\/SPAN><\/P>

GIS merged and replaced the 2017 FEMA data with the existing 2008 FEMA flood data.<\/SPAN><\/P>
